How to find Cheap Travel Packages

Most people don't even know where to start when they begin to plan out their dream destination. I know more people who HATE the process of having to plan their trips than I know people who enjoy it.

So, in honor of helping those who HATE planning and just want to go there with no hassle, I've put together my favorite websites/things to do when trying to find the cheapest travel.

Guys, I did my research on Pinterest and other blogs and I cannot find anyone else talking about this site and IT BLOWS MY MIND!!! This place is amazing. This app/website connects with other travel companies who need to sell trips that haven't already sold. Most have the flight included (from main airport hubs), hotels booked, options on what dates work best and to top it off, they do research on what most people want to see and set time aside to take you there. If the trip package doesn't include the things you want to see, they still give you a day or two (depending on the length of the trip) to go do what you want to do. All major planning is taken care of. I recommend this site to everyone who hates the process of planning a trip. They have a wide variety of options from cabins in the woods, to an all inclusive beach resorts- most deals are killer too!!

Groupon actually bought this website back in 2016. It has the same format and a lot of the same ideas/deals. However, different travel companies post and market depending on the contracts they have with either site. When living social became apart of the travel industry, Groupon knew it was a competitor and bought them out. Again, KILLER deals on hotels, experiences and all around travel packages.

Costco is especially amazing for family friendly trips. My girlfriends and I planned an all inclusive trip to Cancun from Costco and it was super cheap and amazing customer service. They help you book a flight to get you there for the cheapest price, or it's already included in the package. They have the most amazing Disney trips. So, for parents who just want to go and surprise the kids without having to do a lot of planning, go to Costco. They are also known for great deals on cruises!!

For all my beach lovers, like me, always check here for all inclusive deals. All of the Caribbean islands are on here and they have last minute deals or you can plan in advance. The nice thing about this website is you can customize your trip and don't have to necessarily do what is "planned" for you. You just pick a flight, hotel and food package and you get to plan your touristy activities.

This website takes information from the top travel websites like Expedia, Bookings, Orbitz, Priceline and Hotwire to help find the cheapest and best travel deals. This is a great place for hotels, flights or package deals because it condenses the search for you instead of separately going to each website. This is where I usually go if I need a quick hotel!

Talk to LOCAL travel agents

The reason why I say local is because they know which travel companies are offering the cheapest packages in your area. For example, we don't have a big airport around us. We have a small airport that united airlines flies in and out of 3 times a day. Its incredibly hard to find cheap flights from there since there is no competition. One of my friends actually planned a trip through a local travel agent from here to Cancun and found a package cheaper then if he were to be flying out of San Francisco all thanks to a local travel agent. You get a great deal and they make commission. Its a Win-Win.
